Well, I've spent some time over the last couple days ......
learning my way around AIRGUNARENA. After the intial learning curve I'm finding it easier to navagate.

I've added a few articles to get the ball rolling and will continue to do so on a regular basis, but the concept behind this site is to give everyone a chance to participate. Let's hear your stories, reviews, and take on airgun hunting!

If you get stuck anywhere in the Hunting section or have suggestions let me know and I'll try to lend a hand.

Missouri Deer Hunt
This year(2008/2009) was the first for deer with an airgun, I've heard of quite a few taken, but was wondering if anybody has heard of the official stats and how the states wildlife managers view the season.

Welcome To The Gateway To Airguns
The GTA is an exciting new forum made up of over 40 forums in 6 categories. We opened our doors in May 2006. Most all the forums are air gun related. Here are but just a few of our exciting forum names: Main GTA Forum, Hunting Forum, PCP-HPA-Co2 Forums, Crosman Discovery Forum, Air Gun Mods and Tunes, Shop Forum, and the list goes on.

In addition to the forums we have the GTA Library and Mall. In the Library you will find anything from how to adjust a scope to tuning a springer. Much of the material and information you find in the GTA was donated by Bob Werner, aka CharlieDaTuna and many other professionals in the air gun community In GTA Mall you will find over thirty online stores that support the air gun community plus specialty shops that offer custom work on air guns. You could say that the GTA has something for every air gunner who finds the hobby/sport of air guns to be fun and exciting.

So stop on by and discover what air gunning is all about. We invite your whole family to take part in the GTA.

We are a family oriented Forum. G Rated

Interesting
I find this to be extremely interesting. I never realized how much power an air gun could have! I would have never recomended a customer taking anything larger then a racoon before but now I can give more details and advice!! Thank you for the detailed writing and the pics!

There are more states allowing airgund to be used for larger game
while I think that hunting deer and hogs is more of a niche (albeit a growing one)for airgunners, this does show that these guns are more than adequate for fox, coyote, bobcat, and other medium sized quarry. The main point is that when hunting larger game, the point is to hunt smarter and hunt closer..... it is a finesse game in my oppinion. BTW: welcome to the group!

Well we're slowly going live ....
I hope as you surf this site you see the fundemental difference with anything else that's ever been out there for airgunners. Airgunarena is a community site, it is a wiki that will allow members to continue populating and expanding the information base, while giving an opportunity for all of you that have ever wanted to write a forum to do so. This site is not intended to replace your favorite forum, blog or website, but rather enhance your user experience and make all of these resource available to a larger population of airgunners than ever before. This site will make the airgunning community a real community! Give it a chance to grow, get involved, and make it your own!
