Things I liked: It's a Beeman, so the quality is typically very good. Excellent bluing and nicely stained and checkered stock. I bought mine in .20 caliber without sights, which comes with a cool looking muzzle brake. Not too heavy or hard to cock. Good accuracy out of the box. I also bought the 5th generation 4-16 X 50AO Leapers scope to go with it (get the high Accushot mounts) the only bad thing with this scope is that you cant use the 3" shade extension because of where the barrel breaks. Overall I'm very happy with it.
Things I would have changed: The price...a little spendy at nearly $500.00, but being a Beeman addict (I have an R1, an HW30 and the R9). The only other thing I would like to see with an airgun of this price is a set of iron sights included to use if you wanted to have them at a later date. At any rate, you get a lot of airgun for the price and you know they arent junk like some are. My grandkids will be able to shoot these someday.....
What others should know: It's a judgement call. Some folks wont buy one because Beeman's and Weirauch's prices have gone up the last few years, like anything else of good quality, but if someone truly wants a great quality air rifle Beemans (German made) are worth the cost.

Things I liked: Although I am relatively new to quality airguns, I have owned a couple of cheap chinese airguns, and believe me, there is no comparison! This is a quality rifle, beautiful workmanship and finish, worth the price.
Things I would have changed: Nothing.
What others should know: If you are a first time air rifle buyer, just remember that you usually get what you pay for.

Things I liked: Very nice trigger pull. Beautiful wood and blue. Very accurate. 1 ragged hole group at 10 yards. Plenty of power. Ordering and shipping was easy and prompt from PyramidAir. Like other airguns, it is fun to shoot. I went through over 800 rounds over the course of a weekend.

What others should know: I use heavy .177 cal. pellets.... Beeman Kodiaks and Crosman Ultra Magnums with very good results. Kodiaks have a very slight edge in accuracy with my rifle. I eliminated several Sparrows and Starlings from my garden. A well placed shot really makes a fast and painless kill. I plan on using it this fall for Squirrel hunting.
